Overview

Puzzles and Games is Australia’s largest wholesaler of chess sets, puzzles, traditional games and gaming products. When we first met with Frank, the owner, the business was still using an ecommerce website built back in 2012. The design was dated, it didn’t resize on mobile devices, and it didn’t accurately reflect the brand’s position as a leading supplier in the industry.

Together, we defined the main goals for the new website: build a modern site that properly showcased the business, implement wholesale functionality that required customers to register and be approved before they could view prices or place orders, and integrate everything with the existing backend systems. It was also critical that existing customer data was migrated seamlessly to avoid any disruption.

Building a Modern Wholesale Ecommerce Store With Wholesale Functionality

After careful planning, we designed and built a new ecommerce store that delivered on all of these objectives. The new website features a professional design that properly represents the brand and is fully responsive, allowing customers to browse and place orders on any device.

We implemented wholesale-specific functionality so that only approved customers could see prices and make purchases, protecting the client’s wholesale model. We also ensured existing customers were migrated to the new platform without issue, maintaining continuity in their ordering process.

The end result was a website that not only looks and works great but also integrated with their existing business process. This has helped Puzzles and Games continue to serve their extensive customer base with a smooth online ordering experience and to continue to grow their business.
