The Toolshed Noojee is a well-loved country pub and bistro known for its beautiful grounds, relaxed atmosphere, and on-site cabin accommodation. Their previous Wix website didn’t perform well on mobile and failed to reflect the quality of the venue, especially after recent upgrades to the space and menu.
The goal was to create a modern, mobile-friendly website that properly showcased the venue, highlighted its full range of offerings, and introduced a streamlined online booking system for their cabins.
An outdated website limiting visibility, experience, and efficiency
The existing website struggled to deliver a strong first impression and lacked the flexibility to showcase everything the venue had to offer. It didn’t effectively communicate the breadth of services—from dining and events to accommodation—and the manual, phone-based booking process for cabins created unnecessary admin for the team.
Showcasing the full experience while simplifying bookings
We designed a visually rich website that captures the atmosphere of The Toolshed through curated imagery of the grounds, interiors, food, and events. The structure was carefully planned to highlight each part of the business, with dedicated pages for the bistro, events, weddings, and accommodation.
To improve usability and reduce manual workload, we implemented a fully integrated booking system for the cabins, allowing guests to check availability, book, and pay online. We also introduced custom functionality to help the team manage bookings more efficiently behind the scenes.
